Respect...
From what I've learned in my 10 plus years in business is that the best people to work with are those who understand respect. What is respect?
As a Realtor® - our clients show us respect by valuing our time and being loyal to us.
I've heard stories at the office... how a "certain client" wanted to see houses at a "certain time"... the agent reschedule their appointments to accommodate them and then the "client" doesn't show up.
People you have cell phones... use them and call your AGENT!
I've made it a habit to always ask any new "perspective" client if they are working with a Realtor. I won't take on a Buyer client unless they sign a Buyer Representative Agreement and agree to be open, honest and candid with me.
It just isn't good KARMA to work with people who are already working with a Realtor. If they are already not loyal to the other agent then why would they be loyal to you?
So folks next time you think of working with a Realtor®... Respect them and have the decency to stick with them for a period of time that you both mutually agreed to. Some of us work really really hard for you... so please respect our time and help us, help you.
